For undergraduate students who do NOT receive any need-based gift aid (grants) from the university, although they may have financial need according to federal guidelines, participate in UCLA-based extracurricular activities and carry a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher, the Mandel and Winick Undergraduate Scholarship was established in 2012 to support UCLA students with scholarships.
